Things I liked: Size and weight and accuracy
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: Pyramyd Air is a great company offering the best of all short and long barrel units.
Things I liked: It's a very close relative to the real thing, both Colt and other similar 1911's. It shoots well, fits well, and is pretty accurate for use as a "real" gun practice substitute.
Things I would have changed: Yes, I'd love to see a slide lock back action and the safety on the proper side. But I realize these things would cost money and wouldn't be worth it unless it was only minimal extra. As is, the cost/value is just right.
What others should know: This is my second one of these, the first one started leaking at the cartridge neck. Now this was probably my fault, because for some reason it never occurred to me (and I hadn't read) that you shouldn't leave partially used cartridges in the gun for extended periods. Mea Culpa. Well, I've learned and this is a pretty reliable well build gun otherwise.
Things I liked: Excellent value for the money.

What poundage trigger pull does this pistol have?
I recently bought this gun thinking it would be a good one. I've had troubles with it though. The bbs sometimes jam and it's not accurate at all! I can move the end of the barrel in and out and sideways some. Is a screw loose inside the gun or how is the barrel secured?
Why does my colt defender not shoot a bb every time. I have to pull the reloader spring back and re- align the bb's to shoot again.
Maybe an issue with the magazine spring or the channel that the follower/BBs ride in.
