The Air Bolt by Air Venturi is a revolutionary, patent-pending ammunition system that transforms your .35 caliber PCP air rifle into a powerful archery tool!

Use the 375-grain carbon fiber Air Bolt in any .35 caliber precharged pneumatic rifle with a barrel of 21 inches or longer, and change the way you shoot your airgun forever! With incredible power and accuracy, these .35 caliber Air Bolts can dispatch even large game with velocities up to 530 fps and knockdown power exceeding 230-foot pounds of energy (in the .35 Recluse).

They are so accurate, you have to be careful not to "Robin Hood" your Air Bolts!  During testing, we were able to achieve 1-inch groups at 30 yards.

Each arrow comes with a 100 grain Field Tip. The inserts on each bolt are threaded to accept standard broadheads, for the ultimate hunting experience.

Hunt with your .35 cal Air Bolts in these States:

  • Alabama - Deer, Feral Swine, coyote
  • Arizona - Deer, Javelina, Bighorn Sheep, Bear, Mountain Lion
  • North Carolina - Allowed during the applicable firearm season
  • South Carolina - Deer, Bear, Wild Hog, Coyote
  • Virginia - Deer, Turkey
  • Connecticut - Coyote
  • Florida - Coyote and hogs
  • Idaho - Coyote
  • Montana - Coyote
  • Nebraska - Predators
  • Oklahoma - Feral Swine
  • Texas - non-game animals
  • Wisconsin - unprotected species/furbearers

Check with your state DNR or Dept. of Wildlife for game specific details, definitions and seasons.

Tech Tip for Hunters: While you can use fixed blade or mechanical broadheads on the Air Bolts, we recommend mechanical broadheads for better accuracy.

Things I liked: Shoots great. Very cool.

Things I would have changed: Make them cheaper. Maybe a bright color so they are easier to find.

What others should know: I couldn't get them in my Bulldog at first. I had been cleaning with swabs but I had to go get a hard brush to clean the thing out. There is still a tight spot right near the front and I have to push the bolt in against something solid like a tree. Once you get it past the tight spot you can push it in by hand. I lost the very first one I shot. I was so excited to shoot one I forgot to fill the gun. It was at about 1500 psi and my bolt fell short of my target and I never found it :( If it hits something solid the whole tip will come off. I've been able to screw the metal back onto the carbon fiber? bolt but now it comes off every shot and I have to dig it out of the target. I'm going to epoxy it on the bolt and see how long it holds up.

Things I liked: Unbelievable power, along with accuracy make these a winner all around. A bit pricey, but worth it. My wife saw these and remarked that I am loaded for bear. Well that is a literal statement. Anything one can take with a bow, or crossbow, can be better taken with these and the right weapon.

What others should know: However, as far as I know, Arizona is about the only state you can legally hunt with these. Even with 2" broadheads. My rifle and these bolts outdo any bow or crossbow on the market today. Over 500 fps with a 100 grain broadhead!!!

  • Stuball56 from USA asked:

How about broad heads in the Recluse?

    • Tyler from USA:

No problem, can use just about any mechanical or fixed blade broadhead that I have seen.

  • Mitch from USA asked:

Will broadheads work in the Benjamin bulldog and is the ataman mr2type 1 that you tested have a chioked barrel i have the MR2 type 2 35 Cal which does have a choke Barrel basically the Broadhead question goes for both guns and will the arrows shoot in the MR2 type 2 35 Cal

    • Tyler from USA:

For the bulldog, you'd need a broadhead that will fit inside of the shroud itself. So a very small OD mechanical, I have not seen one that would do it. On the ataman, if you found a broadhead with a long threaded "neck" that would extend it off the front of the arrow an inch or so, it should be ok. Or you can just load the bolt with a broadhead as far as it will go (to the end of the shroud) and shoot it. You're only giving up about an inch compared to shooting it with the field point, so accuracy and velocity shouldn't suffer too much if at all.

  • josh from USA asked:

How about if you used some sort of ramrod to push the bolt all the way down the barrel of the texan?

    • Tyler from USA:

You cannot insert it past the aluminum insert. It is made to stop on the barrel crown at that point.
