Things I would have changed:Test then before you send them, it would save you money on having a bad one sent back to you and you shipping one that you think works another.
What others should know:I am on my second Eagle Claw that did not work. and the first one I paid $10.00 for 10 shots. That was a waste of money, it did not hold air. The second one did not take a charge, I would stop there but it looks like it would be a fun gun to shoot if I can get one that works. So they are sending me one more. I will see what happens with this when I get it.

Accurate and the idea of a lever action
Things I would have changed:The stock is way too short I would have to modify that. The magazines are not reliable and cause FTF. A bit on the loud compared to a .25 Benjamin maruder.
What others should know:If the magazines get updated it would be a keeper.

looking for for a scope and rings to go with the Eagle Claw in the 3 to 400 dollar range?
Hello- Just bought the .25 a week or so ago- getting nowhere near the claimed fps- the highest i got was 845, with most being in the low 800's to higher 700's- using different makes of pellets, around 27.5 gr, tried slugs, pellets at 30 or so gr. and still not getting anywhere near the claimed fps of 970 with 33.95 gr they tested with? I bought the gun based on the rough estimate of nearly 1000 fps with 33+ gr pellets- Even if it was around 930 or so, it would be fine- but nope- I'm almost 100 fps off from that number even- Has anyone else experienced slow speeds? What coudl be causing it? Pellets i tried were neslon, benjamin, H&N, Tried Domed, hollow-points, pointed, etc- most readings are low 800's- the Chronograph I'm using works fine- .22 rimfire speeds are spot on - another pellet rifle is spot on to the acclaimed fps- but this seneca eagle is quite low- also there is a bunch of slop in the trigger mechanism- the whole mechanism moves back and forth almost 1/8 inch- is that normal?
Can anyone suggest the Best readily available ammo for high fpe and accuracy? Getting the gun (.25 version) in about a week or so- any suggestions for setting it up? Any peculiarities with the gun? I think i made a mistake and order the 6-20 x 50 scope- will the 6 power be too narrow for acquiring the target quickly? Will it be too blurry at closer ranges like say 10-20 feet or so? I've never used a scope before, so it's new to me- don't know much about scopes- always shot with iron sights
