Gletcher NGT Belgian Nagant Revolver

  • Gletcher NGT pellet revolver with safety lock
  • Black finish
  • Repeater
  • Uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge
  • 7rd pellet cylinder
  • Rifled barrel
  • Full-metal body
  • Double- and single-action
  • Fixed front and rear sights
  • 5.50 lbs. trigger-pull in single-action, 8.80 lbs. trigger-pull in double-action
  • Textured grips
  • Includes 7 realistic cartridge shells (each holds 1 lead pellet)

In single-action mode, we got a high of 426 fps with RWS Hobby pellets, with an average of 406 fps. In double-action (using RWS Hobby pellets), we got a high of 398 fps, with an average of 374 fps. Gletcher indicates a velocity of 328 fps on their box and 360 fps in their manual.

According to airgun writer Tom Gaylord, sometimes pellets back out when pressed in with your thumb. He used the Pellet Pen to deeply seat the pellets into the shells, and none of the pellets popped out.

Things I liked: Excellent historical revolver. Lightweight, accurate , powerful

Things I would have changed: Have a nickel one without safety, see no need for it in this one

What others should know: Limited availability, get one while they are in stock

Things I liked: Very accurate. Loud enough. Shoots 7 rounds.

Things I would have changed: It would be great if the cylinder moved forward like the real Gletcher. But that's a minor issue.

What others should know: This is a nice little gun. Seems very authentic. It's deadly accurate.

Things I liked: If you've ever held a nagant or seen one up close, this thing is an excellent reproduction!

Things I would have changed: To be perfectly honest, nothing! Mine shoots straight with just about any brand of pellet, even though I prefer JSB diablos for the first 21 shells and RWS hobbys for the next 21.

What others should know: If you bench this little guy you'll get some petty amazing results. The Walther barrel is no joke.

  • Triggerhappy from USA asked:

I haven't read that there is a Lothar Walther barrel in this gun anywhere but in a dated BB's Airgun Academy Blog and in statements here. Nowhere on the Gletcher site or PA's description itself is there a mention of it. Have they stopped using the Lothar Walther barrel?

    • swamprocker57 from USA asked:

How do you load the pellets in the shells from the front or back of the shells? I've also read that it helps to use a pellet pen for loading, is this so?Any preference on what pellets work the best wadcutters, domed, destroyers ect.? Thanks!

      • Paul from USA:

I load mine from the rear without taking them out of the cylinder, but I have small hands.

      • swamprocker57 from USA:

Got the Gletcher NGT, pellets load at the back of the shell and using a pellet pen is the best way to load them, nice pistol!

    • Greg from USA asked:

In photos on the website, the BB versions have a small lever on the right side below the cylinder and just behind the trigger. What is that? And why doesn't it appear on the pellet versions?

      • Dave39 from USA:

This lever was a safety that apparently was supplied on early models of the NGT that were sold in Eastern Europe. It no longer appears on any current models of either the NGT or the NGT R. Pyramyd needs to update their NGT photos.
