The well-balanced beech stock is truly ambidextrous and is extended for greater comfort. The Diana 48 is loaded through a sliding breech mechanism. To get the most accuracy from this powerhouse, mount a scope. It'll come in handy, whether you're shooting at field targets or quarry.

We've recommended a variety of appropriate pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. You'll need a robust scope & mount, so check our suggestions in the ACCESSORIES link, where you'll also find other shooting gear.

Helpful resources:

  • Beechwood stock
  • 1100 FPS (.177), 900 FPS (.22)

Things I liked:

mine was traded with my uncle for something I can't remember but he hunted with it for 10 plus years then I got it and I'm still shooting it almost every day.

Things I would have changed:

NADT

What others should know:

its got a Redfield 3x9x40 on it no AO but its been working fine for all these years he did replace the cocking arm as it wore out from use everything else works fine .I redid the stock just because it was really scratched up ALASKA woods can do that! iv owned it for over 25 years and it's still going strong.

Things I liked:

zeroed in with 3 dime sized 3 shot groups at 30 yds. fit and finish are beautiful. great trigger

Things I would have changed:

front sight is fat black plastic, for this price it sucks. open sights are horrible on this gun

What others should know:

the gun is heavy, the side lever action is awkward for hunting, great gun for field target.

Things I liked:

This is a very nice Springer! I paid the extra to have the gun sighted in and Pyramid did an excellent job. Very accurate and I'm impressed!!!

Things I would have changed:

Possibly upgrade the scope, but it's working great for now.

What others should know:

Money well spent! Get one!

  • Richard from USA asked:

Does the muzzle have threading to put on a moderator?

    • Chris from USA asked:

How could the fps be reduced to 600-800 fps? I love the model, but we need a few in 600-800 for a club competition.

      • Mark from USA answered:

There is a Vortek tuing kit for the RWS 48 that reduces the power to 12 ft lbs.

    • Donnie from USA asked:

Due to not being able to dry fire this rifle, can someone please explain how to safely decock this rifle after cleaning the barrel?

      • Paul from USA answered:

I also use a cleaning pellet in lieu of a pellet; however, be ware that it will be "loud" due to the velocity (in case you live in an urban area)

      • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

Load a pellet and shoot it. That's the best way to go about it
