Hawke Sport Optics 1-pc elevation adapter
*3/8" is approximately 9.5mm, but this adapter has enough room in it to accommodate up to 11mm.
If you need to convert your air gun's 3/8" or 11mm dovetail to a Weaver, this 1-piece rail will do it and offer a firm, secure foundation for your optics. The elevation in this adapter will help compensate for any droop you have in your air rifle.

Well made and adequate.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Quality riser. Very secure mounting capability.

The mount does exactly what I needed-compensate for massive (16" at 25yds, i.e. 64MOA) barrel droop on a Beeman R7. I'd tried using the scope adjustments but the scope shift was unacceptable. Other mounts didn't have the range of compensation I needed. After about 200 shots the scope is still solidly in place and the elevation hasn't changed. It's long enough that I was able to find the best ring spacing for the eye relief my scope requires.
Things I would have changed:The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the design makes changing elevation tedious. You have to remove the scope to get access to the adjusting screw. Fortunately, you can leave the lower rings on unless you have to cover the screw with the rear ring. The mount does not come with instructions so you have to download them as a .pdf file that is available on the product description page. You have to loosen the screws that attach the mount to the rifle so it's possible to loosen them too far and have the mount shift position (there is not stop pin) when you change elevation. The elevating part of the mount doesn't have to be loose to adjust it, it will move if slightly snug. None of these things prevent me from recommending the mount.
What others should know:DOWNLOAD THE INSTRUCTIONS AND READ THEM! Some of the features of the mount are not obvious. For instance, there is a pin at the front of the mount. It's to be used if your rifle has a flat "ledge" between the receiver and the barrel and acts as a stop pin. If the receiver smoothly transitions to the barrel as mine does, remove the pin, it just pushes out. The elevation screw is NOT a stop pin. Putting it into a stop pin hole will cause it to break. Make sure the elevation screw is contacting the top of the receiver, not dropping into a stop pin hole. The mount is intended to be sighted in at 20 yards. At that distance each complete turn of the elevation screw moves the point of impact 7." Knowing this makes adjusting the mount MUCH easier. Be sure to use the set screw in the end of the mount to lock the elevation screw and press down on the scope before you lock the elevation to make sure it is firmly against the receiver. Most negative comments were from not reading the instructions.

This is for a 3/8 dovetail. Will it fit an 11mm dovetail?
The weaver dovetail extends past the 3/8" dovetail. How long is the 3/8" dovetail at the bottom of the unit that fits on an airgun barrel?
A little over 4.5"

Adjustment range
Things I would have changed:Finer thread on the tilt adjustment screw.
What others should know:If you can use the one piece UTG drooper mount, do so. Getting everything lined up even with a laser boresighter was lengthy and tedious. Too high, then too low, then high, then low, remove rear ring each time for adjustment screw access. Unfortunately, this early Diana 48 has massive droop on it, the UTG mount didn't get rid of it, couldn't be sighted in even with Burris rings and offset inserts. It remains to be seen if adjustments stay put with the recoil on this beast, it's in .25 caliber. I've used the previous RWS adjustable mounts, none stayed put, one has more screws than this one. Right now it's boresighted, needs actual sighting in. There's 4 clamp screws that not only hold the mount onto the dovetail, they also clamp the center part that tilts. Not sure how well they'll hold given the recoil that the 48 has. On the Diana, the front stop pin hooks right over the end of the sight dovetail on the rifle. Should hold it from sliding.
