Youth sized BB gun
What Others Should KnowFired 50-60 BB's before the gun would not cock / fire. The overall construction is plastic. The cocking effort required more than most youths are capable of. The gun was returned for a refund. PS: made in china
Love the cocking action. Fun.
Things I Would Have ChangedToo much plastic. Would pay more for more quality. See the Daisy Model 25.
What Others Should KnowUsed crossman copperhead BBs. Jammed after about 200 shots. Look at the Model 25 for same feel but more accuracy and reliability.
pump action is unusual and nice in a gun like this. unlike the red ryder you don't have to depend on gravity to get bbs in the chamber. The spring fed reservoir keeps them coming even when pointed down which is a great advantage over the lever action gun. There is no bolt to pull back to grab a bb either. You just pump and pull the trigger which allows you to shoot quickly. With many of the other guns you have to pump and cock the gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould be nice to have a slightly larger model for adults. It's fun just to plink away with this thing.
What Others Should KnowI like this one a lot. The pump action is a little tight for young shooters but it's a great gun for the money

Not much of a gun, but fantastic customer service. Was a Christmas present for my 10 year old grandson. After about 20 shots the gun quit working. The slide cocking mechanism quit working. Called Pyramid Air and customer service immediately sent him another one which he receive in three days. He now spends a lot of time target shooting in his backyard. Thanks you Pyramid air for saving Santa Papaw.
Things I Would Have ChangedAll plastic replaced with wood, like they used to be.
What Others Should KnowBasic spring one pump bb gun, nothing fancy, but good for 10 year old first gun.
Be sue to get some safety glasses and emphasize gun safety!
