It utilizes a 21mm objective lens and 6x magnification, and the fully multicoated lenses deliver a crisp and clear view with improved light transmission compared to standard optics, with vivid colors and stunning brightness.
This rangefinder is nitrogen purged to aid in fogproofing and waterproofing the optics portion, rainproof to help protect it from inclement weather, and has textured rubber armor for additional durability and a stable grip in the presence of moisture. It has a 6-degree angular field of view, with a deer ranging distance of 800 yards and a reflective ranging distance of 1760 yards, and can be set for either yards or meters.

It’s perfect for ranging, which is what I intended to use it for.
I LOVE this equipment. Best priced and longest distance I could buyu.
I like simple things. The Midas 1 mile range finder is easy to setup and use. I like the red display because it makes reading the display on dark backgrounds a breeze to read. It's fast and seems to be very accurate as far as distance readings. It's definitely one of the better ones I've used. If you're on the fence, take a leap of faith and order one. You'll love it.
This has been a good range finder over all really impressed for the price. Edit over a year later. It really struggles in brush.
I looked for a reasonably priced, all around versatile range finder. I had never heard of this brand and thought I'd give it a try. Works fine, however the reticle is fuzzy and glass not so crisp.
It has a great price tag and it does exactly as advertised.
This little guy has worked flawlessly for me. It is very quick and precise. I really enjoy just how simple it works and how un cluttered the display is. I have been able to range at distances longer than its specs by 200ish yards both on targets and game. I feel that you would have to pay double to get the same quality in a different unit.
The quality and clarity of glass on Athlon optics has my jaw on the floor. I was originally looking at vortex, but side by side with buddies Vortex Ranger, this wins hands down on clarity and accuracy
I really liked this range finder. I am a huge fan of athlon products i own this rangefinder, binos, several rifle scopes and their recently released tripod. This rangefinder is super quick to give you a read out and accurately. Goes as close as 6 yds. I personally have ranged objects up to 1300 yards and animals out to 850 yards. I think it could go further. The telephone pole test was not a match for this product. The only con i have found for this product is that it does not have a tripod mounting screw. I would buy this product again and would recommend it but not having a tripod mounting point is something i wish they had added.
