The Hatsan Zada Breakbarrel Air Rifle is for shooters who want a value-focused airgun that is lightweight and easy to use. It offers lead pellet velocities up to 1100 FPS (.177), 800 FPS (.22), and 700 FPS (.25), and energy up to 20 FPE (.177), 21 FPE (.22), and 24 FPE (.25) to deliver powerful shots and the features needed for successful pest control, plinking, and small-game hunting.
This air rifle features a rifled steel barrel that results in accurate shots, in addition to a QuietEnergy fully-shrouded barrel with an integrated sound moderator for shots that are quieter than expected. Furthering the focus on consistent and repeatable performance, the air rifle also uses a two-stage trigger that adjusts for both trigger travel and trigger pull for a clean and sharp break.
The Hatsan Zada uses an ambidextrous synthetic tactical stock that has a molded ergonomic pistol grip for an improved hold, as well as a ridged rubber buttpad for added comfort and control, and Monte Carlo cheekpiece for multiple sighting options. Safety features include an anti-bear trap safety as well as a manual trigger safety and an automatic cocking safety.
The combination 11mm dovetail/Weaver optics rail on this air rifle uses a shock-absorbing polymer to prevent changes to point of aim for the Optima 4x32 scope and rings included in this package. For shooters who prefer open sights, the air rifle also has a red fiber optic fixed front sight and a green fiber optic rear sight that is micro-adjustable for both windage and elevation.

Accuracy straight out of the box is unreal. At first I was using 18 gr JSB pellets and was very satisfied with great groups open sights from 25 yards. I switched over to Crosman premiere dome .22 14.3 gr pellets and groups were just as awesome with less recoil. I mounted a BSA 4x32 Outlook scope and groups tightened even more.
Things I would have changed:The cheek piece on the stock is a bit raised making it a bit difficult to acquire open sights comfortably but with the scope it resolved that issue. Maybe make the stock more open sight friendly.
What others should know:Great gun for the money and plenty of power for a .22 Definitely a great buy for the money. It cannot be beat.
