Description
The SIG Sauer MCX Pellet Rifle Gen 2 is an airgun version of the respected family of firearms with updates that reflect changes made to the look and feel of the real steel model on which it is based. Reaching velocities up to 545 FPS, it provides an excellent and cost-effective method for training for the firearm version, plinking, and light pest control.
This air rifle has a rifled steel barrel with a shroud that helps it to mimic the look of a firearm with a long suppressor, yielding both accuracy and authenticity. The upgraded flat blade trigger gives operation similar to the original.
The SIG Sauer MCX Gen 2 features a Roto Belt magazine with a capacity of 30 pellets, which combines with its semi-auto action to provide for exciting shooting. The textured pistol grip has been improved from the previous version and now utilizes a reduced angle for better comfort and control.
In order to provide added accuracy, this pellet rifle has an adjustable flip-up front sight and an adjustable flip-up rear sight as well as a 1-4x24 scope that sit on the long Picatinny optics rail. In addition, the upgraded handguard now uses M-LOK T-slots to enable the secure and rapid attachment of accessories such as dot sights, lasers, and lights.

I haven’t had it very long, but it is very nice and high quality! I sited it in and it holds a good grouping.
My only critique is that the rounds do not advance on their own. I find
myself having to pull the clip and manually advance the round after each shot.
The GEN 1 suffered with malfunctions. Not this. I can fire two mags at a cyclic rate with no issues.
Things I Would Have ChangedThese pellet scopes cannot be zeroed they are not even up to par with a child's toy.

Things I Would Have ChangedExtend stock 5/8" to allow adapter for 90g Co2 cartridge. Add sling swivels, need sling for easy carry. Trap door on pistol grip, store extra pellets. Camo entire rifle and scope. Get rid of selector on right side of receiver, index finger rubs against it very annoying.
What Others Should KnowIf Sig would make these changes, it could be a great hunting airgin. I made changes to mine
and it is great. Use it for Turkey hunting l call it my Turkey Turminator. PS...camo, added sling,
extended stock, no trap door on mine.
Very nice and has a realistic feel, especially the weight and grips
I know you can find cheaper air rifles out there but none simulate an AR like this one. Its super fun to shoot and also a great starter gun to teach first time shooters with. If i could do it all over i wouldnt change a thing. Unless it being free was an option!!
