Annie Oakley® Lil Sure Shot BB Rifle
Annie Oakley, an American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter, delighted audiences all across America when she was discovered at age 15 and joined Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. At 30 paces she could split a playing card held edge-on, she hit dimes tossed into the air, and she shot cigarettes from her husband's lips...just a few of her many famous tricks that showcased her incredible feats of marksmanship. Throughout her career, it is believed that Oakley taught upwards of 15,000 women how to use a gun, making it a great thing to “shoot like a girl.”
To celebrate this prominent figure in sharpshooting history, Air Venturi introduces the Annie Oakley ® Lil’ Sure Shot BB Rifle - a must-have for any collector, or would-be airgunner (boy or girl!) looking to start out.
This unique rifle features a stained wood stock etched with Annie Oakley's image and the words "Lil' Sure Shot" across the fore-grip. It has lever-action handle, smooth bore steel barrel. Each Lil' Sure Shot features Air Venturi's LASSO mount system which adds an 11mm dovetail rail for mounting your choice of optics.

Things I liked: I purchased this for my 8-year-old daughter who wanted to learn how to shoot. We both love this BB gun and such a value for the price - love that the stock and foregrip are wood, and love the etchings in the wood - super easy to load and shoots true.
Things I would have changed: Same as others, the lever is made of hard plastic - wish this was metal.
What others should know: Highly recommend - great gift for a daughter interested in learning how to shoot.
Things I liked: Function and design make this bb rifle fun to shoot! I haven't had ANY issues, NONE! For the money spent your getting a value.
Things I would have changed: Lil sure shot, as well as the Duke is held together by rivets. Mechanism as well as the lever. Wish it had bolts in case repairs are needed years down the road. (Nope there never needed.) That is my only thing I believe I would change.
What others should know: I could make a list such as a metal lever was needed, or sights need a windage adjustment.. But if you take a step back and look at what your getting for the money spent, this day and time.. It's a bargain! I have NO complaints. Shoots accurate enough for what it is, and the plastic/polymer lever works fine. I'm tickled to own it, glad I completed my set. Stay safe everyone, and God bless!
Things I liked: Terrific lol bb gun! The Annie Oakley Lil Sure Shot is a great bargain for the money. I recently purchased the Lil Duke, and it's nearly identical regarding it's action and overall construction. For the money spent, these are great bb guns. I own many red ryder's as well and love these lever spring bb guns. It cocks smoother than a couple of my daisy's. And is as accurate as them as well. I like the way this rifle loads, a bit of nostalgia with the muzzle cap to twist that exposes the port under the barrel. Mine had nice wood with a great grain pattern running throughout it. It's a smaller frame rifle, but I like it. On my large frame it's like a true little carbine. I hay to say it's a fine way to show what $30 bucks will get you these days.
Things I would have changed: Nothing. Any more "quote" better features would jack the price up on what your getting here.
What others should know: The Lil Sure Shot (and the Lil Duke) are completely riveted together. Even the lever. Looking towards the long term, if parts have to be replaced you would have to grind the heads off to get them out. I don't foresee any problems, just sharing that with you. All in all for the money, it's a no brainier Order one and see what you think. A fine bb gun for $30! Peace to you and God bless. :0)

How much cocking effort?
What's the velocity and how accurate is it? Thanks, Michael in Florida
350 fps using regular steel BBs. less than 300 fps with smart shot BBs.
Is the lever metal or plastic?
wow, for $50 ONE WOULD THINK IT WOULD HAVE A METAL LEVER AND WINDAGE/ELEVATION ADJUSTMENT
