Things I liked: These are similar to my 82gr hp. I call 'em varmint pills. Also in the same weight range are the 85gr Spitzer style pointy-headed slugs. So, you can have three types of slugs with similar weight. Also you can practice with the 87gr, and hunt with the more expensive slugs. They are excellent slugs too. Best of both worlds.

Things I would have changed: Nothing.

What others should know: Yep, and very important. These and the longer 105gr had a almost imperceptible clipping on my donnyfl. On airforce .257, on max power, shots 2, and 3 were the power shots. So, I'd get a flyer or two on my left. Then gun would go back to pinpoint accuracy. I reamed and chamfered donnyfl end cap to .30cal. Also ran a file on edges of interior baffles. Basically, cleaning it up. Works perfectly and consistent now. If it happens to you, use a marker pen on internal exit hole. Test to see if you mark with ammo. I use the Ronin on this rifle for sound mod.

  • Mark from USA asked:

Will this work in a Seneca eagle claw?

    • Mark from USA:

Yes. They would have to be single loaded. They will not fit in the magazine.

  • Miguel from USA asked:

will this pellet fit in my .25 cal rifle...mike

    • Mark from USA:

You would probably have to single load the slugs. They will not fit in any magazines. Unless you have a high powered PCP they will not shoot very well.
