Always be mindful of what is beyond and around your target.  Because of their high BC, slugs will carry more energy further downrange than pellets.  Make sure that your shooting area is safe and that you have a sufficient backstop in place when shooting these projectiles.

Famed German ammo manufacturer H&N has a long standing history of making some of the best airgun ammo on the market.  Their vast lineup of pellets includes multiple styles, weights, shapes and calibers that can be used for everything from Olympic target shooting to hunting.  It should come as no surprise that they are at the forefront of development on mass produced slugs, with the introduction of their HP (High Performance) Slugs!

Available in a wide variety of weights HP Slugs answer the call from shooters looking to increase their shooting range without sacrificing lethality and accuracy.  The hollowpoint design ensures good expansion on target and the higher ballistic coefficient means more velocity and energy retention downrange.  This combination allows shooters to push their airguns to distances previously thought to be unattainable by small-bore airguns.

Things I liked: I like the price and the quantity that you get

Things I would have changed: I'm not sure why but they do not group well for me at 20 yards .group the size of my fist at 850fps. My gun lives the hybrid slugs but they get to be expensive.

What others should know: Check if they group well before buying more than one tin.

Things I liked: Very accurate out of my Maurader, they tracked straight as arrows! Nice hard punch on impact too, you wont be disappointed.

Things I would have changed: More per tin

What others should know: I used the .217 in my gun.

Things I liked: VERY accurate out of my FX Impact 600mm barrel standard pellet liner at 900fps ish, groups were under 1/2" at 50 yards. Im impressed so far they shoot awesome and very well made and pre-lubed and absolutely devastating on racoons and birds, good expansion with a good pop when hitting your target.

Things I would have changed: Nothing really, although being offered in a 500 count tin would be nice.

What others should know: Nothing grab a tin I dont believe anyone would be dissapointed.

Any break barrel that can handle these? Or pcp only?

    • John from USA:

Designed for the higher power PCP air rifles.

    • Val from USA:

They will shoot out of any proper caliber airgun, but these are designed for high power/high velocity to produce best results.

    • John from USA:

Really designed for the higher powered high velocity PCP air rifles. Woodys World.

    • Mark from USA:

This may shoot well. It probably will not fit in the magazine. The weight is good.

  • Anthony from USA asked:

when do we think they will be in stock?
