The hollowpoint design ensures good expansion on target and the higher ballistic coefficient means more velocity and energy retention downrange. This combination allows shooters to push their airguns to distances previously thought to be unattainable by small-bore airguns.
Always be mindful of what is beyond and around your target. Because of their high BC, slugs will carry more energy further downrange than pellets. Make sure that your shooting area is safe and that you have a sufficient backstop in place when shooting these projectiles.

Devastating on medium game, great at punching holes in racoons head's at 120 yrds and under. (Longest distance I can shoot on my property) This is for the .217 21gn but the 23gn is just as accurate in my pcp at 900fps... With power to spare! Kalibrgun Argus 60 w/moderator dead quite. If you own one definitely give these a try, I thought the 18.13 jbs were accurate in my gun and they are for pellets but they don't even come close to the accuracy of these slugs... Even in an 8mph cross wind their lasers!! Great job H&N
Things I would have changed:Hey H&N Alot of us airgunners are huge fans of your products so please be a fan of us too and cut us some slack and give us a little more maybe 50 or 100..per tin. Would be great...

Im new to pcp stuff. The 217 & 218 caliber confuses me the pic of tin shows .22 cal .? What is the 217 & 218 mean then.
I have a air venturi avenger pcp I cant use .218 ,to tight in the breech,all barrels are different so Im gonna go with 217 or 216 light grain to start.Good luck
Everybody talks about using these slugs in "high power" PCP rifles. Could someone please define "high power"? I just bought a Diana Stormrider that claims 950 fps. Does that qualify?
not really, slugs like a specific barrel twist rate with the high power, and high power for .22 would be 30 ft/lbs+...
Are these too hard to be shot thru a flashpup barrel?

Very accurate. They maintain the energy noticably farther downrange, verified by the little amount of holdover required. Plus they leave the barrel with more energy than the pellets. I hadn't planned to, but now will use the Avenger dedicated to only these slugs.
