H&N Baracuda FT .177 Cal, 4.50mm, 9.57 Grains, Round Nose, 400ct
Designed specifically with the competitive shooter in mind, H&N has optimized the Baracuda FT pellet for precision performance. Competitive shooters will love the consistency and accuracy this pellet delivers. This pellet delivers the best results in rifles and pistols generating 12 Ft. Lbs. (16J) of energy and is held to extremely tight tolerances during production.
H&N tests each production lot at 50m, and requires a 5 shot center to center group of 12mm or less and a 20 shot center to center group of 20mm or less. Whether you are a competitor, a hunter or a plinker; if ultimate accuracy is required, look no further than the H&N Baracuda FT!

Things I liked: Excellent in my Crosman 2100
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: 10 shots in a quarter at 20 yards for my Crosman 2100
Things I liked: I've been searching for an accurate pellet for my 1996 Beeman Bearcub break barrel air rifle ever since I got back into shooting during the Coronavirus lock down. Over the years I've used the Crosman Premier Hollowpoints (7.9 gr.) with pretty good luck and occasionally I'd try different ones. The gun never seemed to be overly pellet-picky but once I tried these H&N Barracuda FT (9.57 gr.) my groups started to tighten up a lot. I think I've found the pellet that this rifle loves. I'm able to group 5 pellets into a space no larger than a dime at 25 yards pretty consistently. That's not too bad for a break barrel, in my opinion. I will definitely be buying more of these pellets.
Things I would have changed: It would be nice if they were a little less expensive - but you get what you pay for, so I'm ok with the price, especially since I'm able to get much better accuracy with them.
What others should know: Good pellets. Worth a try.
Things I liked: Nice mid to heavy pellet, good packaging and a screw top lid!
Things I would have changed: Nothing.
What others should know: Nice for field targets, Spinners, paper or plinking. Packs a punch out of all my air rifles.

I don't understand the "grains". Is this about weight? What's better, light or heavy?
Yes, that is the weight of the pellet. There are a ton of different factors that will determine what works well in your gun, you should test and see what works best.
Is the ballistic coefficient really 0.018? Seems kind of low. When I shot these yesterday they bucked the wind better than JSB10.3gr pellets with a BC of 0.31.
BC varies based on what the projectile is being shot from (ie, what velocity it is being shot at), H&N provides numbers for their pellets often tested at 12FPE.
