Hatsan AirTact QE Air Rifle
Hatsan’s new AirTact combo provides price-conscious plinkers, pest-eliminators and target-shooters with plenty of power and accuracy in an attractively priced package.
From this air rifle’s ambidextrous, synthetic, all-weather thumbhole stock to the QE shrouded barrel and adjustable trigger, it’s an ideal entry-level break-barrel gun or a viable alternative to higher-priced pesting solutions. Just mount the included 4x32 Optima scope, load up a pellet and start sending rounds downrange at velocities of up to 1300 FPS (.177), 1000 FPS (.22) and 750 FPS (.25). Hatsan reports muzzle energies of up to 20 FPE, 21 FPE and 24 FPE, respectively.
The Hatsan AirTact features a single-shot, break-barrel cocking action; a shock-absorbing combo scope rail that accepts both 11mm dovetail and Weaver mounts; a Monte Carlo cheek piece and recoil-absorbing rubber butt pad in its stock, along with grip and forearm checkering for no-slip control and a better feel. Loading and cocking this break-barrel air rifle is aided by its large muzzle break, which integrates a TruGlo fiber-optic front sight. The micro-adjustable rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation and also features TruGlo fiber optics.
The integrated QuietEnergy sound moderator reduces the barrel’s bark when discharging a round. So, it’s a secure, reliable, backyard-friendly break-barrel pellet gun with standard and enhanced features that add value and give airgunners more bang for their hard-earned bucks.
If you’re in the market for a, affordable, versatile, consistent and reliable break-barrel pellet gun, the Hatsan AirTact combo might just be the perfect package for you.

Things I liked: Very light weight. Shoots great with air arms field pellets and UTG 3-9-40 scope. Just a great buy all around. Shoots better than my older mod 95 in 25 cal.
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: Spring piston. Smooth cocking. Nice shooting. Light weight. Get the 10 for 10.
Things I liked: Update on review April 19 2019, Good guns BUT NOT A GAS PISTON Pyramyd Air is not the only one that was fooled My 25 cal came from Midway USA , they got theres a long time before any one else They still say it is A GAS PISTON June 09 2019 Look at Hatsan web. Hatsan.com. under the picture in big letters VORTEX and under this in very small letters it says Vortex gas piston upgread avaiable . WANT TO SHOOT NOT WORK ON A NEW RIFLE
Things I would have changed: I would not have purchased eather had i known they were springers. The Vortex models ( gas piston) are not that much more expensive.
What others should know: Could return them ,but hate the hassel .Sons and Grand sons will end up with them. And they shoot rather well. love the stock and scope mounting system. God Bless America an all there in JOE The Green Earth Place
Things I liked: Just received this.....I had carefully reviewed this purchase already having a refined HW30s stainless. I wanted one bazooka that was well constructed and low priced. I've looked long and hard, and when this new item developed with Vortex Gas Ram and Quiet Energy and 750 fps for .25.....with Hatsan's good name...I pulled the lever. Well.....the box, upon opening had no mention of Vortex or QE...ok let's look I thought. I took the gun out and turned it upside down......oh no.....a big steel coil spring smiling at me.......it NOT Vortex gas ram.....someone at Pyramyd unfortunately has placed inaccurate representation of this item. It is steel spring...looks beautiful....light, svelte. But....I had bought a Vortex....so I'm returning it. Pyramyd has agreed to accept the return. They are an upright company.
Things I would have changed: Change the web page to reflect........steel coil spring.....NOT Vortex gas ram
What others should know: Please don't buy it assuming its Vortex gas ram powered.......it is NOT........you can call Pyramyd and ask them to open one and look on the bottom....so sorry it didn't work out.....what a great price.......now if you like the spring......you still have a wonderful rifle to enjoy. I, however, wanted the Vortex gas ram as advertised.

Hello, Pyramid Air can you Please tell me is this the same size vortex piston used in the larger Hatsan 135 QE 25\30 caliber air gun? if so Im curious why its says 30 ft lbs of muzzle energy for that gun but only 24 for this gun yet they all say 750 fps in 25 caliber? I understand the 135 is a much nicer quality rifle but do they use the same size piston spring etc? Thank you
I just got my .25 Cal AirTact Vortex QE. How does one know if this a Spring or Gas Ram ? It looks good and feels good. Have not shot it yet as if it is not what was promised(Gas Ram) I'm sending it back
It's the GasRamVortex and MAN isthis gun FUN !!! Accurate up to 30 yrds ...so far :) I have the Gamo Varmit .177 and 2 Gamo Swarms, Maxxim and Magnum :) This hits harder at 30 yrds than any of these. Very accurate with H & N and JSB
